How to Make Gluten-Free Chow Mein (using spaghetti)

There is never a day that I don’t crave noodles. If you’re like me, then you need to have this recipe in your back pocket to satisfy that craving. Even if you don’t have asian noodles in your pantry, you probably have spaghetti. Believe it or not, spaghetti is a great alternative to asian noodles! This is going to be your new go-to for to-go style Chow Mein! We used gluten-free spaghetti this time, you can use any kind you’d like!

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 package of gluten free spaghetti

  • 1 stem of Chinese brocolli

  • 1 white onion

  • 2 Thai chili peppers

  • 3 cloves of garic

  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots

  • Meat of choice ( I used thinly sliced Wagyu beef)

  • 2 tbs soy sauce (sub with liquid or coconut aminos to be gluten free)

  • 2 tbs oyster sauce (sub with gluten free oyster sauce )

  • 1 tbs sriracha sauce

  • Optional: Sprinkle of Szechuan oil & sesame seeds

How to Cook It:

  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions

  • While your spaghetti is cooking, saute all veggies and add a dash of soy sauce

  • Add in your meat of choice to cook thoroughly

  • Toss in the spaghetti

  • Add all sauces into pan and mix thoroughly (taste and add some more sauce if you prefer it saltier)

  • Top off with Szechuan oil and sesame seeds

  • Slurp up!
